TRACE was engaged to prepare shadow modellings for a DA in Sunshine Coast. Overshadowing impacts resulted from the proposal was compared with the different scenarios outcome to inform Council. Calculation of shadow hours was effective to see the effect of bulk, height and roof design during winter on neighbouring multi-storey building.
